Now as the elected Exclusive Bargaining Representative for all Unit E employees of the State of Maryland, AFT Healthcare-Maryland has negotiated a new labor agreement with the State of Maryland. The negotiated contract includes the following enhancements:
PAY INCREASES
• When we vote YES our pay will increase to pre-furlough levels.
• On July 1, 2011 we will receive a $750 bonus.
• We receive a 2% pay increase, effective January 1, 2013.

• We receive a 3% pay increase, effective January 1, 2014.

• We receive one salary-grade step increase, effective April 1, 2014.

NO MORE FURLOUGHS
When we vote YES we will have no furloughs through the end of our contract (2014).
